Are there really comfortable shoes? Why yes... yes there are.

Are there really comfortable shoes? Why yes... yes there are.

Foot pain, lower back pain, backache - often we don't even think there's a banal cause behind it. When you're on your feet all day because your job requires you to stand and walk around, by the evening you feel exhausted and tired, like your feet are about to fall off. But in many cases, a comfortable pair of shoes can eliminate these problems, and with a simple change of footwear you can say goodbye to these problems.

Yes, but what do we wear to keep our posture and gait healthy and to avoid pain? In our blog we reveal the secret and prove that comfortable shoes do exist!

A selection of shoe shops

If you've made the usual rounds of the usual shops and tried on countless shoe styles, heel heights and materials, but none of them feel right because your problems persist, then listen up!

The average shoes in shoe shops are almost nothing like the natural anatomy of our feet! The creators of Manimal Footgear, Chad and Klara, struggled with these exact problems until they realized that certain shoes could relieve their pain.

Then came the mission, the first part of which was to find the ideal comfortable shoes for themselves, and when they found them, they decided to share the barefoot experience with you and everyone else, the secret to walking perfectly without pain.

But why barefoot?

The answer is very simple! As nature created our feet, we need to support and maintain them. But what do most shoe brands do? It compresses our toes with narrow toe box, forces our feet into unnatural positions with high heels, loses our foot's contact with the ground with thick sole construction. Look at a shop window, what do you see? Stiletto heels, platform, narrow, square toe. We're not saying that a pair of these shoes wouldn't be a great choice for a dressy event, we're just saying that you shouldn't wear them in everyday life!

So barefoot is the secret to comfortable shoes?

Yes! Because these shoes are designed to completely simulate natural walking. Physiotherapists have used all their experience and developed these amazing shoes to make your feet feel like a king or queen all day long, while moving, standing, playing sports or hiking.

What are these shoes like?

All anatomical shoes are identical in design, meaning the basic concept is the same. The Freet brand's black Flex shoe meets all these requirements.

The sole is very important to be thin. You've probably heard about the reflex zones on our feet, and we're even sure you've walked through a specially designed pool in a spa where you had to balance on stones, or perhaps you've even visited one of Hungary's barefoot trails. In barefoot shoes you don't lose your connection with the ground.

In addition, these shoes have no heels, as your feet are at a constant height from the ground up, and they have a comfortable, wide toe box so your toes can spread freely. The shoes are very lightweight so you hardly notice you're wearing them, and they're flexible so you can slip them into a small bag.

If you are new to barefoot comfort, we recommend that if they come with insoles, you should put them in first until you get used to the new feeling. But as soon as you feel you're ready for the real thing, take them off and enjoy the freedom! Contact us if you need help!
