To clean dirty and muddy leather shoes, use a sponge. Dip the sponge in lukewarm water with detergent or liquid soap, and start removing the dirt.
Start with the sole of the shoe, making sure to remove all the dirt from the grooves. Once the sole is clean, move on to the upper part. Be sure to change the water to avoid applying dirty water back onto the shoe. Once you have wiped the upper part clean, wait for it to dry.
Using beeswax leather care
For shiny leather, simply wipe the damp shoe with a dry cloth. However, for nubuck leather, drying may take a bit longer. Once the shoe is dry, it's time for maintenance.
